• Roughly how deep the snow is up there, and whether there is ice at the eaves.
• What you are seeing inside — stains, sticking doors, new cracks, dripping.
• Access — where a truck can park and whether the driveway is clear.
• A photo of the eave from the ground, if it is an ice dam question. It answers most of it.

Hours

Through the winter season, roughly October to May, the phone is answered during storm cycles including nights and weekends for emergencies. Estimates, heat cable and snow retention work are scheduled during normal business hours — and fall, before the snow, is the right time for both.
